The wedding banquet at Clonwilliam is the shining centrepiece of our wedding celebrations and we are truly proud of it! It is masterfully catered by award-winning boutique event-catering company, Naomi’s Kitchen, led by the inimitable Naomi Byrne. This catering guru has catered for some of the most illustrious names around the world and we are delighted to call her our exclusive caterer for all our wedding feasts here in Clonwilliam.

Naomi’s Kitchen exemplifies Irish fine dining at its very best, using the cream of locally produced artisan ingredients, creating beautifully-presented works of food art, served in a contemporary yet classic professional style that easily makes Clonwilliam’s wedding banquets consistently renowned as the best in the country.

Sumptuous country house breakfasts are served to our house guests in our dining room overlooking the valley below. All other catering, for example for night-before dinners and second-day parties, can be arranged from a diverse panel of self-contained catering specialists and food vans, providing buffets to BBQs, garden parties to street food, oyster carts to wood-fired pizza. The more unusual the better.

Wine & Drinks

We do not charge corkage of any kind in Clonwilliam. Each couple is free to bring in all their pre-dinner receptions drinks and wine to be served on the day of the wedding (along with all drinks for any night-before dinner).

Our team of experienced wine waiters prepare and serve the pre-dinner reception drinks and wine at dinner, and carefully keep whatever is unused for you to take away.

In tandem with this, a full pay bar service is provided for your guests all evening, just like any bar or hotel, and there is no cost to you for this service. Whereas in many private venues, the couple must fully stock and staff the bar themselves, in Clonwilliam you have the benefit of a fully stocked and staffed pay bar all evening, with no extra charge to you and no additional work for you to do. You are free to arrange a tab behind the bar should you choose. And, unusually, our bar manager is happy to serve your wedding wine from the bar complimentary to your guests throughout the night, should you wish.

We feel that the way in which drinks are managed in Clonwilliam allows our couples the maximum flexibility in serving alcohol in the most cost-effective way possible in any private venue or hotel.
